What happens on my first visit?
Your initial visit to the dental surgery begins with a friendly chat with myself, Dr Gareth McAleer. I want to learn about you, your needs and the dental treatment you wish to pursue.
This chat will help relieve any worries or concerns you may have, either about receiving your dental treatment or about visiting the dentist.
After the initial consultation you then relax inside the dental surgery practice room. Here, we perform a full mouth examination, including oral cancer screening, a gum health check and dental x-rays, if necessary.
Our low-radiation radiographs appear instantly on a screen in front of you for immediate diagnosis and discussion.
You will leave the practice with a clear understanding of any dental treatment planned. A follow-up appointment will be booked.
