The Old Bakery Dental Practice is pleased to offer Invisalign aligners as one of our latest treatments - a cost-effective and technologically advanced alternative to Clearstep invisible braces.

Before you sign up for Invisalign, we offer you a free consultation so that we can assess whether or not this is the most suitable treatment for you. This is a good opportunity for you to ask any questions or to find out more about Invisalign.

With the old Clearstep method, impressions of your teeth were made every 6 weeks. With Invisalign, just one impression is made at the very start. After that, a model of your teeth is sent to the Invisalign offices in the US, where the aligners are created. They are then sent back to us.

Each aligner has been pre-designed specifically to suit your teeth as they progress through the straightening and realignment treatment. This is possible because of the use of a virtual 3D treatment plan which shows how your teeth will move over the course of the treatment. You will also have access to this plan.

You will need to make sure that you switch to the next specified aligner every two weeks. You will also need to wear your aligner for a minimum of 20 hours a day.
