Your initial visit will start in our consultation room; an informal area where you will meet Dr Gareth McAleer.

This is an opportunity for Gareth to find out more about you and what you would like from us. There is a chance for you to discuss any worries or concerns you may have about visiting the dentist or receiving any treatment, before you are then taken through to the surgery for a full mouth examination including oral pre cancer screening, gum health check and radiographs (xrays), if these are necessary.

Radiographs are processed while you are here, so Gareth will be able to show you these on a viewer and explain the results.

You will leave the practice with a clear understanding of any treatment planned and the appointments necessay to have this carried out.
